As an act of affirmation, they are sending Black dolls to the Caribbean to assert the love and power of our negritud(e).

As people of color, we have been stigmatized by the lack of representation in the media. And yet the narrative that is ever-present in our society is that black people are lazy, dangerous, and worthless. Their message is a reminder to empower Black children and alter the narratives that have infiltrated our global framework.
